ABOUT InCoRM
ABOUT INCORM The International Chamber of Russian Modernism, InCoRM, was founded in Paris on 14th April 2007 by independent art historians and scientists who specialise in Russian Modernism. InCoRM was registered as a non-profit organisation in Paris in February 2008. The aim of InCoRM is to provide a platform for dialogue amongst all those interested in Russian Modernism, while its website is a research source in the making. It publishes scholarly work, both art historical and scientific, in the Journal of InCoRM, which is found on-line as well as in print.

Journal

 

JOURNAL OF InCoRM
An informed and scholarly journal published on-line and in print containing articles by art historians and scientists. Topics include technical and scientific advances in analysis of works of art, studies of works, archival information, newly discovered works, interviews, exhibition and book reviews. The Journal of InCoRM in print is €10 and may be ordered from info@incorm.eu

RUSSIAN MODERNISM
Russian Modernism is a broad term covering the innovative painting, sculpture, theatre, design, and decorative arts in Russia, c.1900-1930. Russian Modernism includes the art of the Symbolists and the World of Art, as well as all the Russian Avant-Garde groups - from the Neo-Primitivism of the Donkey's Tail, the Fauvism of the Knave of Diamonds, to Cubism, Futurism, Suprematism, Non-Objectivism, Constructivism, and Productivism.

MEMBERSHIP
There are three categories of membership to InCoRM. EXPERTS are the consulting specialists. ASSOCIATES are academics from related disciplines, museum curators, other scholars, and graduate students working in Russian Modernism. AFFILIATES are collectors, arts institutions, art dealers and others. All Members can join in dialogue on the InCoRM Forum, have the possibility of submitting relevant and appropriate articles to the Journal of InCoRM, and are able to download from the Journal of InCoRM and the Library for research purposes and the planning of exhibitions.
